Carnival hits one million mark for VeriFLY app – Travelweek

MIAMI — One million Carnival Cruise Line passengers have now used the VeriFLY app to submit their health screening information ahead of their cruise vacation.

Says Ron Dillehay, Carnival’s VP Guest Marketing and Technology: “Helping one million people to simplify the process of starting their vacation is a great milestone to reach, but it’s no surprise the majority of our guests have taken to using VeriFLY so quickly. They see the benefit immediately as they save a significant amount of time at the port and get on board faster.”

Since making the app available fleetwide in March, Carnival became the largest cruise line to implement VeriFLY.

VeriFLY is available in the App Store and Google Play. After passengers download the app, they then search for Carnival Cruise Line and complete the required steps. They will be asked to submit required documentation, such as vaccination status and COVID-19 test results.

When the process is complete, a VeriFLY pass will be issued in the app to present during embarkation.
