MIAMI — Virgin Voyages is opening its sailings to all passengers, including those who are unvaccinated.

The cruise line says the move is in keeping with the direction taken by the rest of the travel industry.

The eased protocols take effect Sept. 18, 2022 on Valiant Lady and Sept. 21, 2022 on Scarlet Lady.

“From extensive cleaning measures, to a first-to-sea, high-tech air filtration system, the health and safety of our Sailors and Crew remains our top priority,” says the company.

Here’s a look in closer detail …

  • All passengers (no matter their vaccination status) are welcome on board
  • Unvaccinated passengers are required to bring a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours, or take one at the terminal for a fee of $30 on their embarkation date
