January winners announced for Tokyo Tourism’s Tokyo Travel Specialist contest – Travelweek

TORONTO — Tokyo Tourism has announced the latest winners in its Tokyo Travel Specialist contest.

Launched in November 2022, the Tokyo Tourism E-Learning Program is available on Travelweek’s Learning Centre as a 6-theme e-learning program created for travel agents by Tokyo Tourism.

Themes include Tokyo Sightseeing: Aiming for Sustainable Tourism, and Recommendations for How to Enjoy Sightseeing in Tokyo While Avoiding Crowded Areas. Each theme is followed by a 5-question quiz.

With Air Canada offering the most daily flights between Canada and Japan with direct nonstop service from Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal all year round, agents who complete all six themes will be entered to win an air ticket to Japan courtesy of Air Canada. Agents must complete all 6 themes by Feb. 28, 2023 to qualify.

Meanwhile, each month two agents who completed one or more of the six themes will receive a package containing goods from Tokyo.

The two winners for January are Penny Wareham and Martin Charlton.
